Our resident Renoir, our mini Matisse, our prolific (and pint-sized) Picasso has been at it again! Behold, his oeuvre du jour:

This complex piece deserves a bit of an introduction for the untrained eye. Start at the top, and let your eyes travel down and across the full canvas. On the roof, we find none other than Tom and Jerry, up to their usual shenanigans! (Seriously - doesn't Tom look determined, and Jerry beleaguered?) Luckily, just in the nick of time, Jerry spies a mousehole - there, to the left of Tom - and escapes through it. But Tom gives chase, and we next see the duo in the windows below, wreaking all kinds of havoc inside the house. Jerry finds yet another mousehole - this time at the bottom left of the house, and we see the pair running around outside, Tom having just come out the front door, and Jerry scampering through the tall grass in front. This tale ends with Jerry trapped in Tom's cage at the left of the house...
But don't worry, our darling artist reassures me. Jerry always finds a way out! Yes, indeed, Jerry has lots of tricks up his little sleeve...and we have lots of paper, crayons, and imagination to recount many future adventures!
